Board of Directors

SIGN is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The board meets six times a year, and as required. 


Board members are elected for one-year terms at the annual general meeting in June, and elect their officers immediately following.

2024 Annual General Meeting

The AGM of the Society for the Involvement of Good Neighbours was held June 19 at SIGN on Broadway, preceded by a buffet dinner.


The meeting heard from Chair of the Board Sheila Hintz, from Executive Director Andrew Sedley about SIGN programs and operations in the past year, and the financial statement for the fiscal year which ended March 31 was presented and approved. All three documents can viewed or downloaded below.


Election of board directors took place. Three board members did not seek re-election: Jerome Niezgoda, Ashley Benko and Donna Coleman Trombley. They were recognized and thanked for their service to SIGN by Chair Hintz.


Re-elected to the board were Sheila Hintz, Scott Sharpe, Randy Goulden, Ross Green and Pat Zaryski. Elected to the board were Melissa Mitchell, Pat Koskie and Robbie Bear.
