Independent Living

 Independent Living provides support and assistance to clients with persistent mental illness. The goal is to provide participants with basic living skills to facilitate independent living. 


Services provided include:

  • Support and Reassurance;
  • Teaching skills related to housekeeping, menu planning, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting and personal hygiene;
  • Assisting with locating housing and relocation;
  • Advocacy;
  • Assistance with accessing community services.


Referrals to the program are made by Mental Health Services only.
