Our donors, community partners and funders

Members of the Yorkton Lions Club presented a donation of $2,500 to SIGN Senior Mobility, a program that provides rides for seniors in Yorkton. The Lions have supported this program in various ways for at least 40 years! With the Lions members is Senior Mobility's Launey Weitzel, second from right.

Partners

Without the support and co-operation of many other organizations in our communities, SIGN would not be able to provide its programs and services.

Community partners who have websites where more information is available include:

  • SaskAbilities Partners in Mental Health and Well-Being
  • Dream Builders
  • Yorkton Tribal Council
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton
  • Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology
  • Canadian Cancer Society
  • Parkland Early Childhood Intervention Program

Funders

Funding for SIGN programs and services is provided by the following:

  • Ministry of Social Services
  • Saskatchewan Health Authority
  • Ministry of Justice
  • SGI
  • Ministry of Education Early Learning
  • City of Yorkton
  • Area service clubs, churches, businesses and personal donations

We thank all who support the work of SIGN through their participation and funding.

SIGN provides services to those who live on Treaty 4 territory, the ancestral lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota and the Métis Nation. We affirm our relationship to the treaties that are integral to the foundation of Canada and commit to honouring their spirit and intent. We respect the diverse histories, languages, and cultures of the many people who have lived on this land, and we commit to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous peoples and nations in a spirit of respect, reconciliation and collaboration.
